Description
Special Decolorizing Flocculant for Coking Wastewater
Currently, Biochemical treatment is commonly used for coking wastewater. However, due to the presence of many difficult-to-degrade organic substances, the treated water often still contains high levels of COD, color, volatile phenols, PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), cyanide, petroleum substances, total cyanide, total nitrogen, and ammonia nitrogen—failing to meet national discharge standards. Therefore, in advanced treatment after biological process, it is important to remove these hard-to-degrade substances. Regular flocculants are often not effective enough. Using this special decolorizing flocculant together with activated carbon gives ideal treatment results.

Usage
-
First, add activated carbon to the wastewater. Stir for several minutes to tens of minutes. Then add the diluted Decolorizing agent or original Decolorizing agent. Stir again for a few minutes, then allow to settle.
-
Adjust the pH of the wastewater to 7.5–9.0 before dosing.
-
After biochemical treatment, typical dosage (based on use in multiple coking plants):
-
Flocculant: 80–300 ppm.
-
Activated Carbon: 500–1500 ppm.
