HC 30 RO Membrane Cleaner – High pH Organic & Biofouling Remover
Application:
HC 30 is a high-pH liquid cleaner designed to remove organic contaminants and biofouling. It is suitable for aromatic polyamide RO membranes, hollow fiber membranes, nanofiltration (NF), and ultrafiltration (UF). Effective cleaning helps extend membrane life. Best used in combination with HC 20 and HC 88.

Dilution: Typical dilution ratio: 1–3% of total cleaning solution volume.

Cleaning Instructions:

Check the cleaning tank, hoses, and pre-filter; replace cartridges if needed

Fill the tank with RO or demineralized water
-
Slowly add the calculated amount of HC 30; circulate and heat to the membrane manufacturer’s recommended temperature
Note: This product foams easily; ensure all return lines are below the solution surface

Circulate cleaning solution for 60 minutes at the recommended flow rate
-
For heavy fouling, discard the first 15% of return solution to prevent redeposition

Clean each stage separately in multi-stage systems; replace the solution if it becomes cloudy or the pH deviates

Rinse the system with demineralized water before restarting
