Description
Corrosion Inhibitor (for Sealing Systems)
Properties & Applications:
It is designed for closed-loop cooling or heating systems using ethylene glycol, methanol, ethanol, or industrial water as the heat transfer medium. It is widely used in chilled and hot water systems, antifreeze formulations, oil tankers, and storage tanks to prevent waterline corrosion.
Free of chromates and colorless in water, it prevents metal staining and offers excellent corrosion protection for carbon steel, stainless steel, copper alloys, and aluminum alloys. It helps maintain heat exchange efficiency and reduces maintenance and operational costs. As a liquid, it is easy to handle and dose. Best suited for closed systems with minimal leakage.

Usage Instructions:
At system start-up, add it at 1500 mg/L based on the total water volume—no pre-filming needed. During operation, dose 1.3 times the amount of make-up water via the expansion tank. When used in oil tankers or tanks for corrosion protection, combine with a demulsifier for optimal results.
Packaging: 25 kg drum Shelf Life: 1 year
