Description

Acid Pickling Corrosion Inhibitor

Properties & Applications

It provides excellent corrosion inhibition in various chemical acid pickling processes. Under normal conditions, it significantly lowers corrosion rates and prevents hydrogen embrittlement in steel by inhibiting hydrogen absorption. It also prevents Fe³⁺-induced pitting corrosion.Suitable for inorganic, organic, oxidizing, and non-oxidizing acids, such as:Hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, nitric-hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid, sulfamic acid, citric acid, oxalic acid, acetic acid, EDTA, NTA, HEDP, etc.

Technical Specifications

  • Appearance: Light yellow or dark red liquid
  • Specific Gravity: >1.0
  • pH: Slightly alkaline
  • Flammability: Non-flammable, non-explosive

Usage Instructions

Prepare the cleaning solution by adding 0.3–0.5% of it into water and mixing well before adding acid.
  • Operating temperature: below 50°C
  • Total acid concentration: ≤20%

Packaging & Storage

  • Slightly corrosive. If splashed into eyes or mouth, rinse immediately with water. Do not ingest.
  • Use promptly after preparing solution. Store sealed in a cool, dry place.
