Paper Chemicals Series
The series includes two types:
- Anionic Trash Catcher (also called Retention Aid or Fixing Agent)
- Paper Color Fixing Agent
1. Anionic Trash Catcher (Retention Aid / Fixing Agent)
This product is a colorless liquid that dissolves easily in water. It works in the pulp circulation system during papermaking to stop chemical impurities from settling. Also used in coating broke treatment, the product helps prevent latex particles from clumping in the coating.
It also avoids flocculation in the white water system. Thanks to these effects, coating broke can be reused without problems. When used in making high-whiteness or colored paper, the need for brighteners and dyes can be greatly reduced.
2. Paper Color Fixing Agent
This product is a low molecular weight polymer with a high cationic charge. It improves the sharpness of inkjet printed lines and reduces ink spreading. This helps printed paper resist water better. On colored paper, it improves color fastness and prevents fading. Dye usage can also be reduced.
The product dissolves easily in water and offers strong binding power. It stays stable in water, forms no gel, and adapts well to pH changes. Chlorine resistance is also a benefit. The product can lower the resistivity of paper, which helps with pre-coating.
Application Range
- Anionic Trash Catcher Used in the broken system of papermaking to improve paper quality. Also used in deinking systems for dispersion and color fixing. Acts as an AKD promoter. Used for fixing color in colored paper.
- Paper Color Fixing Agent Suitable for all types of inkjet printing paper. Also used in dyeing with reactive and acid dyes. Works especially well with reactive dyes.

How to Use
Anionic Trash Catcher
Used as a charge neutralizer in the system.Can be added directly without dilution into the short circulation system. Normal dosage: 300–500g per ton of paper.
For coating broke treatment, add at the pump inlet of the broke tank. Normal dosage: 300–1000g per ton of broken. The best dosage can be confirmed by turbidity test.
Paper Color Fixing Agent
Can be diluted or added directly into the coating system. Dosage: 5–20 % powder weight, based on needs. Can be used with nonionic or cationic polymers. Do not use anionic additives.
Storage and Packaging
- Packed in plastic drums of 200KG or 1000KG.

- Store at 5–30°C. Avoid direct sunlight. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage. Undiluted products may irritate skin and eyes. Use protective gloves and goggles when handling. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

- Store indoors. Avoid heat, sunlight, and freezing. Shelf life: 12 months at room temperature. Slightly corrosive. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water.
