Description

HC 80 Antiscalant for RO Systems – Compatible with flocculants

Product Features:

HC 80 is a high-performance liquid antiscalant and dispersant designed to control scaling caused by carbonates, sulfates, and iron oxides in membrane separation systems. It is suitable for various water sources and specially formulated to be compatible with coagulants such as PAC, PFS, and other organic flocculants. Important: Ensure the coagulant used is compatible with the antiscalant to avoid membrane blockage.

Benefits:

  1. Compatible with PAC, PFS, and coagulant HC F80.
  2. Effectively controls scale from calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and barium sulfate; no scaling even when LSI reaches 3.0.
  3. Strong dispersing capability to prevent particulate fouling on membrane surfaces.
  4. Suitable for all major membrane types.
  5. Effective within a feedwater pH range of 5–9.
  6. Compatible with aluminum and iron oxides in feedwater.
  7. Can be dosed directly or diluted.
  8. Liquid product; easy to dilute and use.

Usage Instructions:

  • Dosing Point: Best added before the security (pre-) filter.
  • Dosage: Calculated based on feedwater salinity, temperature, and recovery rate. Adjust according to specific conditions.
  • Dilution: Can be dosed directly or diluted with RO permeate or demineralized water. Dilution ratio should not exceed 10 times.
