HC 10 RO Membrane Cleaner — Acidic Formula
Application:
HC 10 is a low-pH liquid cleaner designed to remove metal hydroxides, calcium carbonate, and other scale deposits. It is suitable for cleaning aromatic polyamide RO membranes, hollow fiber membranes, nanofiltration (NF), and ultrafiltration (UF) membranes. Effective cleaning extends membrane life and system runtime.

Cleaning Instructions:

Check the cleaning tank, hoses, and pre-filters; replace filter cartridges if needed

Fill the cleaning tank with RO or demineralized water

Slowly add the calculated amount of HC 10 while circulating; heat the solution to the membrane manufacturer’s recommended temperature

Circulate the cleaning solution for 30 minutes at the recommended flow rate

For heavy fouling, discard the first 15% of return solution to prevent redeposition

Clean each stage separately for multi-stage systems; replace solution if it becomes cloudy or the pH deviates from the recommended range

Rinse the system with RO water before returning to service
Dilution: Typically used at 1–3% of total cleaning solution volume (about 1:45 dilution ratio). For best results, use in combination with HC 30.
