Description

Heavy Metal Precipitator

Product Description

It is a high-performance, eco-friendly, and non-toxic chemical designed to effectively remove heavy metals from industrial wastewater. It reacts with a wide range of monovalent and divalent heavy metal ions—such as Fe²⁺, Ni²⁺, Pb²⁺, Cu²⁺, Ag⁺, Zn²⁺, Cd²⁺, Hg²⁺, Ti⁺, and Cr³⁺—to form stable, insoluble compounds that settle out of solution. These precipitates are highly stable and will not redissolve, eliminating the risk of secondary pollution.

Applications

It is suitable for a wide range of industries, including:
  1. Coal-fired power plants – Removal of heavy metals from desulfurization wastewater (wet FGD systems)
  2. Waste incineration plants – Flue gas treatment for heavy metal removal
  3. Industrial wastewater treatment in:
    • Metallurgy
    • Electroplating
    • Electronics
    • Chemical manufacturing
    • Printing
    • Circuit board production
    • Mining
    • Other chemical processing industries

Recommended Dosage for 10 ppm Heavy Metal Ions

No. Heavy Metal Ion  Dosage (L/m³)

Usage Instructions

  1. Analyze the concentration of heavy metal ions in the wastewater. Perform lab-scale dosing tests to determine the optimal dosage. (Recommended dosage: 20–300 ppm)
  2. Adjust pH of the wastewater to 7–10 using NaOH before adding it for best performance.
  3. Dilute It with water in a dedicated dosing system. Combine with coagulants and flocculants for enhanced treatment.
  4. Stirring time: About 30 minutes to ensure full reaction and precipitation.

Packaging & Storage

  • Packaging: 25 KG plastic drum
  • Storage: Keep in a dry, ventilated area below 40°C. Avoid freezing, overheating, or direct sunlight. Store away from oxidizers and acidic materials.
  • Shelf Life: 12 months
