Description
Fatty Alcohol Defoamer
Fatty alcohol defoamers are O/W-type emulsion defoamers formulated with high-grade fatty alcohols, fatty acids, and long-chain mineral oils as base oils, combined with water-soluble modified vegetable oils and linear low-molecular-weight alcohols. The mixture is emulsified using emulsifiers under high-temperature conditions.
Fatty acids and alcohols provide strong hydrophobicity and resistance to hydrolysis. The co-oils offer broad compatibility and good fluidity, while small-molecule alcohols enhance hydrophilicity. These features give the product excellent dispersibility, good biodegradability, and no risk of discoloration or migration. It shows outstanding defoaming and anti-foaming performance in papermaking white water, effectively preventing defects such as paper breaks, pinholes, and blotches caused by foam.
