Calcium Chloride is a purified inorganic salt produced by removing water from the Calcium Chloride Brine solution through evaporation. Usually used in the petroleum industry, such as for drilling as mudadditive, additive to oil well completion fluids, Cementing finished oil wells, and Drying petroleum fractions. Used also for De-icing, Desiccant, Paper Manufacturing, etc. Calcium Chloride is available inanhydrous (CaClz) and dihydrate (CaClz Hz0) in forms of prills, powder, granule or flakes.

Usage:

1. Used as a desiccant in various industries.
   Refined calcium chloride can be used in the food industry, electronics industry, and leather industry. It is also used to produce acrylic resin, in the processing of organic chemical products, and during petroleum distillation. In addition, it can be used as a mixing agent in ether-alcohol solutions.

2. Used as a de-icing agent for roads, parking lots, airports, and similar areas.

3. Used for dust control, including prevention of dust, dirt, and mineral dust.

4. Used in petroleum drilling as drilling fluid, completion fluid, cementing fluid, and workover fluid. It is also used as a dehydrating agent in the petrochemical industry.

5. Used in the rubber industry to produce emulsion coagulants.

6. Used in the ferroalloy metallurgy industry to manufacture chlorinating agents and additives.

7. Used in the paper industry as an additive.

8. Used in the construction industry to produce early strength agents, such as concrete strength enhancers and curing agents for coating materials.

9. Used in the chemical industry as a raw material, sulfate remover, and sodium alginate coagulant.

10. Used in the refrigeration industry as a coolant and as a medium between air and fluid in air-conditioning systems.

11. Used to prevent spoilage of wheat, apples, cabbage, and other products. It can also be used as a food preservative.
