Description
Defoamer for Pesticides & Fertilizers
Cause of Foam
During the processing, filling, or application of pesticides, liquid formulations containing surfactants can generate foam when subjected to high shear, grinding, stirring, shaking, or impact. Excess grinding media or chemical reactions between certain components may also cause foaming.
Foam Hazards
Foam can hinder processing, packaging, and dilution. Excessive foam affects pesticide quality and performance, reducing the effectiveness of fertilization, pest control, and herbicidal action. If not removed promptly, foam may remain on crops and reduce absorption of the active ingredients.
